This is 13% higher than in the year 2019. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries each month. Canada, which has 7,200 visitors in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, is not much behind the United States. Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists from abroad in 2019, with 969.600 coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they're vaccination-free. The country has already hosted over 600,000.
